Family Party in Austin

A family reunion doubled as a housewarming just outside Austin on June 27, 2026. The extended family gathered at the hosts' new home for a brunch of pastries, charcuterie, coffee, and mimosas, with about 20 guests attending.

The sketching station was set up in the stand-alone gym on the property. Guests walked over in ones and twos for a quick reference photo, then took in the view of the hills on the way back to the party while their portraits were drawn.

One artist worked for three hours and sketched all 20 guests, so every family member left with a portrait from the day.
