Wedding at High Hill Resort Community, Tyler, Texas

Three artists from Alisa Maxime Studio worked a 175-guest wedding at High Hill Resort Community in Tyler, Texas on April 18, 2026. Over four hours in the Runway style they completed 144 portraits, drawing at about a dozen guests an hour each, so nearly everyone who wanted a sketch got one.

The ceremony and reception were outdoors with a garden feel, and the cocktail hour moved inside. The couple had personalized the day down to the details, with their own emblem appearing throughout, and the guests' outfits followed the garden theme, which gave the artists a lot to work with. A live band played, and late in the evening the elephant mascot from the couple's alma mater came out onto the dance floor. Guests were clearly taken with the drawings and kept coming back to the table to watch the artists work between songs.
